Free Your Hips - Move With Ease
How to “De-Chair” yourself with Habits and exercises that release chronic hip tension for whole body freedom.
Do you experience chronic pain/discomfort in your hips or lower back?
Or, have you ever wondered why simple positions such as standing or laying down flat on the ground can cause so much discomfort?
Pain and tension (especially in the Knees, hips, back, and neck) can all arise from imbalances in our hip flexors and Psoas muscles. In this workshop, we’ll explore a little of the anatomy of our hip flexors and Psoas muscles, what lifestyle habits tend to cause chronic tension, and what new habits would help us restore our mobility. We’ll experience some simple principles of alignment and Restorative Exercise to release tension and increase our ability to move more freely.
Patrick Hogan is a Coach for movement and life. He trained as a Wayfinder Life Coach (Martha Beck Institute, ACC ICF Certified), Restorative Exercise Specialist (Nutritious Movement Institute), and Natural Movement trainer (Mov Nat Certified).
His work aims to help people undo the habits of modern living that lead to chronic tension and pain as well as to help people build movement rich lifestyles that keep our bodies moving dynamically throughout life.
