Move Your DNA Weekends are engaging, two-day sessions designed to give you a strong foundation in aligning your body well during a variety of exercises—including walking and squatting—so you can start learning how to be your own personal trainer and guide yourself to moving more with greater ease and less pain.

This 1.5 hour class will lead you through some of the foundational moves found in the book Dynamic Aging.
It’s never too late (or too early) to begin adopting healthy movement habits into your life!
By learning simple principles about how our bodies work, incorporating some new habits, and practicing exercises that help balance out your strength and mobility, you can ensure you’re on the path toward moving more freely and enjoying the activities you love at any age!
This one hour class will lead you through some of the foundational moves found in the book Dynamic Aging.
In this final session of the series, we’ll take a closer look at some principles of alignment and what those tell us about how our feet, ankles, hips, and core all work together to bring about better stability. We’ll use this work to explore how it applies while playing with our balance and walking.

In this session of the workshop we will explore how the stiffness in parts of our body may contribute to loss of balance, and look at how challenging our balance on a regular basis can increase our ability and our confidence level.
This workshop will be a “non-falling“ falling exploration. All are welcome no matter your age or confidence level as everything is scalable to meet your comfort.
This one hour class will lead you through some of the foundational moves found in the book Dynamic Aging.
How can we use awareness of the movement and alignment of our parts to move better both on and off the yoga mat? This Sessions’s focus will be Tree pose: we’ll look deeper into the components and movement habits needed to develop better stability in balance as well as practice moving in ways that help mobilize our hips.
