What I learned from a rafting trip…

It would have been easy to say no. I could have said it’s not the right time. Or questioned if it was the responsible thing to do?

But fortunately, I listened to my inner compass - what was my body saying. And I said yes.

Guided by my fellow life coach colleague, what I got from this experience was immense.

The views, the camaraderie, the hiking, the time outside in nature - these  were all part of the healing that I needed at this time.

Being there, I was learning from the river. Learning to let it take you. And let things happen on their own timing.

The herons were watching and leading us. It's actually a known phenomenon! The herons have a habit of waiting for you to approach and then flying a little further down the river, and it feels like they're guiding you - urging you on.

Here's what I took with me: say yes when your body speaks to you - follow its lead.

Relax, don’t push, and let nature guide the flow of your timing - we are being guided - if we allow ourselves to listen.

When your body says yes, especially if that yes feels like freedom, follow it wherever it takes you. Those are the breadcrumbs that lead us on the path towards greater joy, larger experiences, and toward building the life that you yearn for.

If you’re curious about how to listen to those inner compass signals, and how to condition your body so that it is able to follow your dreams, let’s connect.
